To Print
out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right
click on the highlighted recipe. Choose the option PRINT.
Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT
button on the screen.
Chocolate Pound Cake
with Black Walnuts
1/4 c. Crisco
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
5 tbsp. cocoa
3 c. flour
Cream Crisco, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift together salt, baking powder, cocoa
and flour. Add alternately with 1 cup sweet milk. Then add 1 cup black walnuts or pecans.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Check at 1 hour. Cover after 10 minutes cooling,
or put in a cake box. Ice if desired..
