Pistachio Nut Cake

I loved this dessert. Maybe some of you remember it too, or one very similar.

Pistachio Nut Cake
1 box white cake mix
2 sm. pkgs. pistachio instant pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup club soda (I have used 7-Up in the past when I didn't have club soda)
1 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients and beat 4 minutes with mixer. Fold in 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Pour into bundt or tube pan that has been buttered and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
