We freeze them, keeps them Fresh. We Freeze all our Extra Powdered Sugar,
Flour, and granulated Sugar before putting in the Canisters. We freeze all
our Crackers, chips and use them straight out of the Freezer and they
never get Rancid. They don't need thawing. They are always Fresh. We
Learned this years ago from friends in Florida who froze everything to
keep them from Cock Roaches and Water Bugs, etc. Until I did it for myself
I did not think it would keep things like this crisp and wonderful, but it
does. And we've done this for over 30 years now. NOTE: A refrigerator is a
totally different thing. It can dry things out and make them stale much
faster.
