Mississippi Bread Dip
2005 Recipes - Newsletter Archive

To Print out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right click on the highlighted recipe. Choose the option PRINT. Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT button on the screen.

I can't remember who asked for the spinach dip recipe that goes in the bread. Here is a dip recipe I always make, it's not spinach dip but it is a favorite around my house.

Mississippi Bread Dip
1/2 cup sour cream
1-8oz. cream cheese
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1- 4oz. can green chilies
1 small can deviled ham
4 green onions chopped

Soften cream cheese in microwave, add sour cream, and sharp cheddar cheese. Mix and microwave 2 minutes. Mix and add chilies, green onions, and deviled ham. Hollow out center of Hawaiian bread, and pour mixture into center of bread. Cover with foil, and bake at 300* for 1 hour. Serve with bread, crackers or Fritos.
