Maple Syrup Pie

To Print out only the recipe highlight it with your mouse, right click on the highlighted recipe. Choose the option PRINT. Change the Print Range from ALL to SELECTION. Press the PRINT button on the screen.

Nancy in Vancouver, British Columbia (request for Maple Syrup Pie, April 20th newsletter)

Maple Syrup Pie (Tarte au sirop d'erable)

1/2 c -Cold water
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1/4 c all purpose Flour
2 tb Butter
1 c pure Maple syrup
1 Pie shell; 8 " baked

Whisk water with flour until smooth; stir into syrup in small heavy saucepan. Stir in egg; cook over medium -low heat, stirring, until thick, about 7 minutes. Stir in butter until melted. Pour into pie shell. Let cool.
