Barndt's All Vegetable Soup

½ cup chopped celery
¼ cup chopped cabbage
½ cup chopped onion
1, 15 oz., can green beans including liquid, I use Blue Lake cut beans
1, 15 oz., can diced tomatoes, including liquid
1, 15 oz., can sliced carrots, including liquid
1, 4 oz., can sliced mushroom, option, including liquid
2 to 4 tablespoons Hidden Valley ranch dip mixture, optional
2 to 3 tablespoons beef or chicken granular broth, instant or you could use a can of broth, optional

Dump all this including the liquid from the cans into a crock pot then add 1 to 2 cups of water depending on the amount of liquid that you want. Let it cook all day. It will be ready when you get home.

Barndt's Ham Salad Sandwiches

at least 2 slices of onion, or more if want
2 tablespoon sweet pickle relish or more if want
2 to as much as to wet the ingredients Mayonnaise or we use Miracle Whip

To Zelda in Grand Prairie someone asked what part cube steak came from and I thought it was someone from Texas, I could be wrong. Sorry I don't remember the person name. Glad to know that they do have that.

Doris, S. Indiana could you please send in the Pork chop, tomato soup and onion recipe that you were talking about in the May 31 newsletter. It sounds good. Thanks. Susie Indy
